{June 23, 2005} Arrived in Heathrow
…it was a long wait but we found some benches that we tried to sleep on near the KLM counter in Heathrow airport – I got 2 hours max! I went for a walk and soon found the Starbucks so the lack of sleep was slightly diminished. Hmm, good old americano… when I asked for cream I received a few odd looks … thankfully my North American accent was pretty thick and I smiled like nothing was unusual about my request! It was pretty amusing though I guess I’ve been in North America too long!
The next flight was interesting… very much so. I sat next to this guy who talked a lot, very friendly. He had some interesting theories on G-d and. He pretty much dominated the conversation…
yeah, interesting! I have a knack for meeting the interesting ones …I guess
