{September 6, 2008}   My List

Ok, so I’ve been reading a lot lately and more and more people are talking about their lists and how to start crossing off what they accomplish. In Nik Halik’s book, Thrillionaire, he talks about the 10 things that he wanted to do as a small child and how he’s accomplish over 3/4’s of his list.

Internet guru Yanik Silver of Maverick Business Adventures® posted his list of goals recently on his blog and you can see him cross them off.

Then recently I got a hold of James Ray’s book, Harmonic Wealth, he’s from the Secret and read it through and did all the exercises (amazingly enough!!) And one of the major things I realize is that the frustration I have in certain areas of my life stem from not being clear about what I want and not putting a plan into action to get to where I wanna go.

So this is the start of it … I’ve started a list that I’m gonna work towards achieving and since it’s kinda publicly displayed it makes it a little difficult to ignore ;-)

{August 31, 2008}   Thrillionaire Book Reviewed

Ok so I’m a little late on my update about the book, Thrillionaire by Nik Halik.

Anyway I read it, and loved it the guy’s had some pretty amazing adventures. I watched a few interviews of Nik so through them I’ve heard his voice and reading his book you can hear him talking through it … which is a nice aspect I think because you catch the author’s passion and energy as you’re reading.

The guy is a self made multimillionaire who thrives on adventure and living life to the fullest. A new breed of millionaires who are called Thrillionaires. He has had some amazing adventures like deep ocean diving in a submersible to have lunch on the Titanic. Sleeping inside the tomb of an Egyptian pyramid to climbing Everest.

Nik Halik is only down to a few more goals on his list of 10. Interestingly enough he made that list as a child and is currently living it out as you read it. One of his last few goals is going into space, he’s currently preparing for that journey now, and to walk on the moon.

Now I can’t give away EVERYTHING in his book Thrillionaire …that you’ll just have to read for yourself ;-)

Good times and bad times… wait … “it was the best of times, it was the worst of times”… I think that’s how Dickens started his novel. A Tale of Two Cities.

Ah, yeah first the good … I recently was introduced to an amazing man, Nik Halik, via a webinar by Alex Mandossian… I know not as cool as personally meeting someone face 2 face but oh well! Anyway, Alex interviews authors about their books and then sends you onto links so you can order the book.

Thrillionaire, that’s the name of the book and I was able to read a few chapters before the webinar …pretty amazing stuff. So I ordered the book and am waiting for it in the post.

So you’re probably wondering what a Thrillionaire is. It’s someone who has pretty much made a ton of money (multi-millions) and lives the life of adventure. This guy Nik seems pretty intense and focused… very cool :-)

On the not so cool note… “friends”… hmm, this is an interesting subject but do you ever really know someone? I had a little fall out with someone recently, it was pretty sad but honestly if you have something to say …SAY IT don’t let it fester for years then strike a poison at them! All-in-all I had a gut feeling for a few months the sad thing is that the reason for the blatant attack was pretty pathetic at the end of it all.

Back to happier things… can’t wait for Nik Halik’s Thrillionaire to arrive… will keep everyone posted ;-)
